About Joshua Grosshandler, MD

EDUCATION Josh grew up in the nearby city of Zanesville, Ohio. At the age of 16, he knew that dermatology was his passion. Striving to achieve his dream, he was accepted into Northeast Ohio Medical University while in high school. He graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2010. He then completed his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital and his dermatology residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident. AFFILIATIONS Josh is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is an active member in the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, as well as the National Psoriasis Foundation. DERMATOLOGY SPECIALIZATION Josh has an interest in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with special interests in acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer. He is the author of multiple peer-reviewed publications in dermatology and has given multiple talks for the Ohio Dermatological Association and National Psoriasis Foundation. He enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, with all types of skin conditions. INTERESTS He is known for his caring mannerisms and attention to detail. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, water sports, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.
