A Place Like Home Independent Living Corporation (APLH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable, and supportive housing for veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to live with dignity, independence, and purpose by offering a welcoming environment where residents receive the support they need while maintaining as much independence as possible. At APLH, we believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Our homes provide 24-hour staff support, nutritious meals, transportation assistance, community engagement opportunities, life skills development, and connections to healthcare and community resources. We work closely with families, healthcare providers, social workers, veteran organizations, and community partners to ensure each resident receives compassionate, person-centered support. Our goal is to create more than housing—we create a community where residents feel respected, valued, and like family.
