About Johnson Inn
The Johnson Inn is a rebuilt replica of the structure first built in 1813 by Peter French. The inn purchased by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1833, and served as a temporary printing office, housed the Egyptian mummies purchsed by Joseph Smith, Jr., among other historical moments in the Church's history.
